anonymous It was February 13, our five month anniversary, and we thought we would make a weekend out of it because Valentines Day was the next day.
Ian made all the plans and picked me up from work and we checked in at the Crowne Plaza. He told me we had been upgraded to a better room and when I got upstairs there were rose petals in a love heart shape on the bed.
Ian made a reservation at Evoo for dinner and when we got to dessert the waiter brought out a platter with a silver cover over it and left it on the table. Ian told me to open it and have a look.
When I lifted up the silver lid there was a diamond ring in a box and he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. Of course I said “yes”.
