Flutter Those Lashes
A bride’s wedding day is one of the few times in her life when she will be part of a professional photographic shoot. To make the most of it, consider eyelash extensions to accentuate the eyes without going over the top with a full set of fake eyelashes.
Darwin beauty salons Heavenly and Glamour Studio both offer eyelash extensions by attaching individual lashes to the bride’s own eyelashes for a natural, thicker look.
Heavenly co-owner Vania Smith said brides can have as many lashes added as they like with a full set of between 100 and 120 silk lashes costing about $150.
Glamour Studio owner Katrina Winstanley said eyelash extensions last for about two to three weeks and shed with the natural lashes.
“They really make your eyes stand out and it helps with the make-up because it defines the eyes and you often don’t need mascara,” Katrina said.
