My husband Rik proposed to me while holidaying in Thailand after being together for nine months. Rik hired a ski boat to take me out snorkeling and lunch before taking me back to Maya Bay to propose at sunset at the exact location where the movie The Beach was filmed, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. I had always wanted to go there after seeing the movie and I had no idea he was going to propose – it was amazing.”
