My now fiancé and I were on our holiday in the Whitsunday's on Hamilton island, when he took me for a walk on our first day there.

We walked along the beach and he took me off to a very private part, where I don’t think we were even supposed to be. And we were taking in the scenery - which was amazing! We were on the crystal blue waters edge, with a stretch of the beach on one side and all the surrounding islands on the other!

He told me to look at the amazing mountains behind us, and as I turned back to look at him, he was wearing a t-shirt that had embroidered across it 'will you marry me'. After the shock and tears I said yes of course!
